“Waterloo” là nhạc phẩm mà nhóm ABBA viết để tham dự và rồi thắng giải Eurovision năm 1974. Từ đó, tiếng tăm của nhóm vang danh khắp thế giới. Những album nhạc kế tiếp hai album đầu đã không phụ lòng người hâm mộ: “ABBA”, “Arrival”, “ABBA-The Album”, “Voulez-vous?”, “Super Trouper”, “The Visitors”. Năm 2010 họ được bầu (inducted) vào “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”, với người giới thiệu không ai khác hơn là hai anh em của nhóm The Bee Gees.
